Hello everyone!
For the first time this year, I got to wear sunglasses! It’s the sign we’re heading towards spring, which means: flowers in blossoms, blue skies, not needing to wear a jacket anymore (almost), my birthday next week…
We shot the pics in Lausanne’s old city, just behind the cathedral. I found the little streets so beautiful, it reminded me a bit of the Marais in Paris. I don’t know if it’s actually accurate since I’m relying on my memory of 2009… Anyway, we found this cute shop selling old books which was unfortunately closed. We’ll surely go back another day to have a look!
Since the exams’ period is over, I’ve been enjoying huge amounts of free time I spent reading, watching old films and taking pictures. Among my current readings there are: The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath and Un amour de Swann by Marcel Proust for uni. Last year, I read Saturday Night and Sunday Morning by Alan Silitoe and it suddenly became one of my favourite books. I really appreciated the contrast between the calm narration and the roughness even brutality of the story itself.
What is your favourite book?
