I Love You To Bangkok And Back

We might still be working on the Thailand post we promised you guys, but Asia has already taken over our minds. It was the first time, for both of us, going to this continent. It has been an incredible experience and fashionwise, it has inspired us very much. Everything was so different. I particularly appreciated very much stumbling upon people rocking minimalist outfits: very simple yet sophisticated. And other people would just combine different pieces that I didn’t imagine could go together. This was a highly visual experience. I particularly liked how people would play with different prints, logo pieces or catchphrases, sportswear and statement pieces. All these people we encountered in the street inspired us a lot to try new combinations and dress up a bit differently, but still keeping our minimalistic side.

Bien que nous travaillions actuellement sur l’article qu’on vous a promis à propos de la Thaïlande, l’Asie a déjà envoûté nos esprits. C’était notre première venue en Asie pour tous les deux. D’un point de vue mode, l’expérience était inoubliable et nous a énormément inspiré. Tout était si différent! J’ai particulièrement apprécié découvrir à chaque instant dans la rue des personnes arborant avec classe un style minimal et sophistiqué. Et d’autres avaient un style plus expérimental: ils arrivaient à mettre ensemble des pièces que je n’aurais jamais cru compatibles. J’ai vécu une expérience visuelle extrêmement satisfaisante. Comment ne pas apprécier la manière dont tout le monde combinait différent motifs, logos et slogans, sportswear et pièces “statement”? Tous ces gens que nous avons croisés dans les rues nous ont inspirés à créer de nouvelles combinaisons et s’habiller un peu différemment, tout en préservant notre style minimal.
