Good afternoon everyone!
We played it classy today, to present to you two turtleneck looks.
The spot is one of our favourites’. It’s a park in Geneva called Parc des Bastions, which is situated between the Place de Plainpalais and the vieille ville. There is a well-known monument called Le Mur des Réformateurs in the back. How idyllic it is, in summer, to eat an ice cream there, the both of us sitting on a bench! Others parks you should visit in Geneva are the botanical park and the Parc des Eaux-Vives.
The special part of my look is this huge white knitted sweater, it’s so comfy and keeps you warm in this chilly weather, especially if you’re very cold-sensitive like me 🙂 To go with Nicolas’ look, I added a vintage hint to the outfit by pairing the sweater with this pencil skirt I bought in a vintage shop in Glasgow last summer.
Hey, Nicolas here. Today’s outfit is simple but powerful, in dark tones. It is directly inspired by Steve McQueen, who played the main character in the movie The Thomas Crown Affair by film director Norman Jewison in 1968.
I highly recommend it, it’s a great piece of entertainment if you like old movies. Those movies are also a great opportunity to see old clothing trends in motion, which is, I think, always interesting and inspiring.
What is your favorite old movie, and what is so special about it?
