The brand…
Oxalyde is a Swiss jewellery brand. It is based in Geneva and was created in 2014. The name of the brand comes directly from a plant called the oxalide in French, which is pronounced the same but spellt differently. This name was chosen because of how unique and beautiful it sounds. The plant itself ressembles a clover and is used in Oxalyde’s logo.
The designer…
N’Gane is the creator of this brand. Since she was a child, she has always been creating her own pieces of jewellery using perls. This hobby of hers became a professional activity in May 2014. The designer finds a lot of inspiration through her travels, her children and her ethnic origins.
What we love about it...
We love this brand because of its incredibly elegant and minimal creations. You will find so many different pieces, yet the spirit of the brand is always kept. All creations are made by hand by a passionate creator and it is noticeable. This is really something you can notice when looking at how well the pieces are crafted and how there are small details that make the pieces really classy. Moreover, we loved the very minimal designs: even when pairing more than two pieces, it does not look heavy.

La marque
Oxalyde est une marque suisse de bijoux, basée à Genève et fondée en 2014. Le nom de la marque fait référence à une plante appelée oxalide. Ce nom a été sélectionné pour son originalité et sa beauté. La plante oxalide ressemble à un trèfle et a par ailleurs servi d’inspiration pour le logo de la marque.
La créatrice
N’Gane est la créatrice derrière la marque. Depuis l’enfance, elle a toujours pris plaisir à créer ses propres bijoux à partir de perles. Ce hobby est devenu une activité professionnelle en mai 2014. Ses sources d’inspiration sont principalement ses voyages, ses enfants et ses origines.
Ce que nous aimons…
Nous apprécions beaucoup le côté sobre de ces pièces, ainsi que leur look élégant. Vous aurez énormément de choix en parcourant l’e-shop d’Oxalyde et beaucoup de plaisir à découvrir ces bijoux. Toutes les pièces sont réalisées à la main par une créatrice passionnée, et cela se ressent dans leur finition impeccable et le soin apporté aux petits détails. De plus, ces pièces sobres ont l’avantage de pouvoir être portées plusieurs à la fois: même en superposant plus de deux pièces, cela reste visuellement léger.
