Hi, Nicolas here.
Winter is coming. We all knew. But oddly, it’s still really warm here! Which is why I’m not really showing off my jacket today, more my stripes. But my favourite item on today’s look is the scarf: it’s a gift I received from my Partner, and it really keeps me warm. We took those pictures in Lausanne, a little before sunset. As soon as it got dark, the scarf came in real handy.
Claire just got herself a cool look, combining a beautiful striped shirt with a lovely jeans skirt. However, she’s got her scarf and coat ready for the upcoming sunset, in harmony with the rest of the outfit. See our outfits description at the bottom of the page!
What are your cosy winter combinations? We’d like to know!
Dear fellows students, we have exams coming soon! Learning is a complex process, which can take time, but we can also spare a lot of it if we know how to study smart. Here are three simple tips:
– Explaining what we are learning, even if it is to ourselves. Processing the information will help us memorize it.
– Studying in the same configuration as we will take the exam. Indeed, studies have shown that we recall information better when the context ressembles the one we learned in. We probably will take our exams at a desk, sitting. This means we should learn at home at our desk, sitting, and not lying in our bed or while eating in the living room.
– We should take breaks at least every hour and sleep enough. Otherwise, we’ll literally lose our time, thinking we are learning something, but actually being a lot less efficient than we could be.
Do you have other learning tips to share with us?
