Swimwear selection: Get ready for Summer!

Hi dears!

It’s Summer in one month time, already. The weather is warm and beautiful more and more often, which really makes us happy. Don’t you think it’s time to get ready for it? We say, let’s prepare our beach outfits! There’s nothing more refreshing than a summer bath in the closest lake or ocean near your home. But if we’re going to swim, let’s do this in style! 

Online shopping is really convenient, as it spares you a lot of time and you can do this anywhere as long as you have an internet access. Crazy era to live in, right? And what do we do with the extra time we gained? Well, having an ice-cream or taking a long walk in the sun seems rather appropriate, don’t you think? 😉

We’re eager to bring our new finds to the Lake Leman (=Lake of Geneva). What is your favourite swimming spot?

Selection of swimsuits for women, Summer 2016

1. Pink
bikini: Triangl (similar ones here) | 2. Sporty black bikini: Calvin Klein (via Zalando) | 3. Printed one-piece: Bonprix | 4. Baby blue bikini: H&M | 5. Black one-piece: Zara

Let’s take them in order. First this pink bikini, which I really like because of its colour, basically. Quartz Pink is one of 2016 colours by the way. (See the colours of the year 2016 on Pantone’s website.) Funny fact about me, I love staring at plain colour images like Pantone’s for hours, well not litterally but it relaxes me, am I weird? 

Let’s keep going. This two-piece by Calvin Klein caught my eye because of its sporty side, if you like sporty swimwear, this one’s for you!

The third in the selection is a one piece. Who said one-piece swimwear isn’t sexy? Certainly not me! I’m really obsessing about naked backs and cut-outs these times…

Then we have number 4, which colour is really close to the Serenity Blue (by Pantone) which must really be one of my favourite colours. I always loved pastel shades.

And finally number 5, another one-piece but in black this time, which will really give you a slim silhouette, plus I love its V-neck.

I won’t comment on all of them but you may notice that I especially like minimal designs such as stripes (which give a little vintage and sporty hint) or color-blocking. I had a special crush on the one with the waves print, which reminded me of Hokusai’s paintings. If you haven’t seen them before, you should definitely check them out! 😉
