Why knot?

Today, I felt like trying something new, and I found just what.

But first, let me ask you a question: do you like ties? I personally do, for two main reasons. First, I think they look really classy if you use them well. Second, there are tons of ways to tie your knot, which makes it a great opportunity to be that guy who stands out (or that girl, girls can wear ties too, right?). I mean, why limit yourself to the classic, boring old Windsor knot?

So let’s get a closer look at that tie: I present to you the Finfrock knot, which was invented by David Finfrock. I think it’s a great option, because it works with thin and large ties, and it’s pretty easy to do. I won’t teach you how to make one, others do that perfectly already. Just google it or have a look on YouTube 😉

The rest is pretty basic. I’m obviously playing with the grey shades, which are “always safe” if I may say so. Though it looks really good, you could manage to add a bit of colour so it doesn’t look dull. This usually gives a plus to your look, which I did here by wearing my dark argyle socks from Burlington.
