Hi guys! This week and next week we will be sharing with you an event that took place at the beginning of June in Geneva: the Veggie Week. During one week, restaurants of five-stars and four-stars hotels in Geneva proposed vegetarian and vegan menus. As a reminder, we are both vegetarian. So when we heard about this event, we became highly excited: it was the perfect occasion to try out some gastronomic restaurants we were already eyeing in Geneva.
Today we are talking about Le Loti, the gastronomic restaurant of the prestigious La Réserve hotel right next to Geneva, with a lakeview. The chef is Virginie Basselot.
We took once the vegetarian menu and once the vegan menu. Both were extremely delicate and creative. Personnally, I had never tasted a strawberry sorbet which flavor was so intense, and Nicolas simply loved discovering a new kind of pasta: the Fregola Sarda. Many other little details amazed us. This visit was simply magic and we had such a lovely time, suspended in time, thanks to the goodness of the dishes of course, but also thanks to the thoughtful and amazing members of staff.
We can only highly recommend this place, where personnally, we will definitely go back one day! 🙂

Bonjour tout le monde! Cette semaine et la semaine prochaine, nous vous faisons découvrir un événement qui a eu lieu début juin à Genève: la Veggie Week. Durant une semaine, certains restaurants d’hôtels cinq et quatre étoiles à Genève ont proposé des menus végétariens et vegan. Pour rappel, nous sommes tous deux végétariens. Alors lorsque nous avons entendu parler de cet événement, nous étions super intéressés: c’était l’occasion idéale pour enfin tester ces restaurants gastronomiques que nous rêvions d’essayer.
Aujourd’hui, on vous parle du Loti, le restaurant gastronomique du prestigieux hôtel La Réserve à l’entrée de Genève, avec une vue sur le lac. C’est la cheffe Virginie Basselot qui est aux commandes de ce restaurant.
Nous avons pris une fois le menu végétarien et une fois le menu vegan. Les deux étaient extrêmement raffinés et créatifs. Pour ma part, je n’avais jamais dégusté un sorbet de fraise aussi intense, et Nicolas a simplement adoré découvrir une nouvelle sorte de pâtes: la Fregola Sarda. Et tant d’autres petits détails encore nous ont surpris et enthousiasmé. Cette visite a été tout simplement magique et nous avons passé un moment superbe, totalement suspendu dans le temps, grâce à la délicatesse des plats bien sûr, mais également grâce à un service attentionné et bienveillant.
C’est un endroit que nous vous recommandons vivement et où nous retournerons, cela ne fait aucun doute! 🙂
