Hi guys! 🙂
As mentioned in last week’s article, we tried out two restaurants during the Veggie Week in Geneva. If you haven’t already, get a look at Le Loti, of which we talked about last week. And today, we will be talking about the Living Room Bar & Kitchen, the restaurant of the great Hôtel de La Paix!
As we did last time, we tried out two different menus, in order to maximize the pleasure and discovery 😀 And as expected, the food was extremely good. It is a real pleasure to eat a meal that has been prepared with so much carefulness. The food was also very well presented, which obviously increases the pleasure even more! I mean, look at this great pink gaspacho decorated with edible flowers! The staff was also very kind and helpful, which is always a good thing.
The best thing about five-star places like the Living Room Bar & Kitchen is that there is more to your enjoyment than just the meal. The Hôtel de La Paix only recently opened this restaurant, and they made a fantastic work designing it. Everything in the room fits so well together. The colours are beautiful. The always have temporary painting expositions on the walls, for you to enjoy whilst you eat. And they managed to re-use in a highly fashionable way an old pharmacy counter as a bar counter. If you love good-looking places, well, this one will surely not disappoint you.
So if you’re looking for a classy place where you can have an amazing meal, this is definitely a place to recommend 🙂
Here are the two menus we took:
