Hello there! Claire speaking.
Last weekend, we went to Zurich to attend the FashionHotel event. It’s a special fashion event which consists basically in proposing pop-up independant stores in a peculiar display: in hotel rooms! It took place in the Ambassador Hotel, Opera Hotel and Seehof Hotel as well as the Bernhard Theater (for the catwalk show and the afterparty). We particulary liked the concept because you can stumble on awesome brands this way, that you wouldn’t have discovered otherwise.
Then we grabbed some pasta at Tschingg (Oberdorfstrasse 2, 8001 Zurich) for dinner and headed “home” under the rain.
Rainy weather = pasta weather, that’s right!

About our stay, we spent the night (or what was left of it) at the Renaissance Zurich Tower Hotel***** (Turbinenstrasse 20, 8005
Zurich) where we had a room situated on the 14th floor (hello amazing view!) and slept very comfortably in a king-size bed and had a huge and fulfilling breakfast on the following morning. Yes it is some French toast covered in corn flakes you can see on the snaps!

We would definitely recommend you this place. It may seem far away from the city centre but it is actually really close to the Hardbrücke train station. And there are trains heading to Zurich HB (Zurich Main station) every five minutes or so, which will bring you to the centre in no time! (literally two minutes)
Then, as one breakfast isn’t enough, we sat down for some serious cake tasting (6 kinds + toppings) at Cakefriends (Torgasse 3, 8001 Zurich) before finally heading to a photo shooting we’ll tell you all about in a few weeks!
Stay tuned 😉
