Quick Hair Fix with Björn Axén

Spring has finally begun, yay! I was recently sent this dry shampoo and hair brush by Björn Axén for reviewing purposes and I fell in love with both of them. Let me tell you why.

Finally a scented dry shampoo!

Let’s begin with the dry shampoo. I can honestly tell it’s one of the best if not the best dry shampoo I have tried out so far in life. Before trying out this, I had kind of a love-hate relationship with dry shampoos. All the ones I tested would always give me dandruff, not really helping my hair look fresh, not really adding volume… And they all had this kind of classic dry shampoo smell, like some kind of old chemical product, which I obviously did not appreciate. So I was like, really, another dry shampoo? But then I have to say it worked like a charm and its Sweet Blossom scent suits me really well. It’s perfect before going out in the evening to attend events or for days when I have no time to wash my hair.

This brush has been a lifesavior

As you may notice from the picture or if you have seen me on Instagram (@wearedresscape), I currently have long hair. It almost reaches my bellybutton and also, my hair quantity is quite massive. (Need for a haircut you say? I did go to the hairdresser’s between the moment of the picture and now haha). What I meant to say is that my hair is sometimes a real pain to dry with my hair dryer, it takes ages! This brush came in really handy to dry my hair more quickly. This is definitely today’s piece of advice: if your hair is being long to dry, why not try a brush like this one?

Le printemps a enfin débuté, yes! J’ai récemment reçu ce shampoing sec et cette brosse à cheveux de chez Björn Axén pour tester et je suis totalement conquise. Laissez-moi vous dire pourquoi.

Enfin un shampoing sec parfumé!

Commençons par le shampoing sec. Je peux vous dire que c’est l’un des meilleurs, si ce n’est le meilleur shampoing sec que j’ai eu l’occasion de tester jusqu’ici dans ma vie. Avant ça, j’avais un avis très mitigé sur les shampoings secs en général. Tous ceux que j’avais essayé présentaient des inconvénients: ils me donnaient des pellicules, ils ne remplissaient pas vraiment leur fonction de redonner de la fraîcheur à ma coupe, n’apportaient pas de volume aux racines… Et ils avaient tous cet espèce de parfum chimique digne d’un shampoing sec, ce qui ne plaisait évidemment pas. Alors de prime abord, je me suis dit: encore un autre shampoing sec? Mais je dois reconnaître que celui-ci fonctionne à merveille et son parfum fleuri me convient très bien. C’est parfait pour se rafraîchir en un coup de vent avant de sortir le soir pour un événement ou quand je n’ai pas le temps de laver mes cheveux.

Cette brosse me sauve la vie

Comme vous pouvez le remarquer sur la photo ci-dessous ou si vous me suivez sur Instagram (@wearedresscape), j’ai actuellement les cheveux longs. Ils atteignent presque mon nombril et ma masse capillaire est plutôt dense. (Besoin d’une coupe vous dites? Je suis passée chez le coiffeur entre le moment de la prise de la photo et maintenant haha). Voici où j’aimerais en venir: parfois, me sécher les cheveux est devenu une vraie corvée, ça prend des siècles! Cette brosse m’a été très pratique pour me sécher les cheveux plus rapidement. Alors voici mon conseil d’aujourd’hui: si vous avez l’impression de passer trop de temps à sécher vos cheveux, essayez une brosse comme celle-ci!
